Herbert Taylor

Passed away peacefully at Arthabaska Hospital in his 85th year on July 5th. Husband of Mary Hannan. Father of Cynthia (Chris Leahy) and Michael (Joanne Besmargian), grandchildren Matthew (Angela McIntosh), Lucas (Stephanie Boyd) and Abe Leahy, Rebecca, Bridget and Evan Taylor. His sister Ardyce "Mickey" (the late Max Parker). He is predeceased by his brother Albert (Kathleen Badger), sisters Edith and Jessie (the late Joe Parker) and grandson Reuben Leahy. A funeral service will be held on July 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Sydenham Church, followed by the burial at Maplewood Cemetery, St. Felix-de-Kingsey, QC with the Reverend Venerable Dean Ross. Herbie was a kind, loving man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also had a passion for animals, literature, farming and the vegetable stand, which he ran for a number of years.
