R.
Barry Evans
Barry was born and raised on the family farm in Danville Quebec, attended ADS
elementary school and graduated from Richmond Regional High School in the early
80ies. Upon completion of High School, he pursued a career in the automotive
industry, and worked for Dyson & Armstrong Inc in Richmond for several
years. Feeling somewhat limited, due to his lack of post secondary education,
Barry returned to Georgian College in Barrie ON, where he graduated with a
diploma in administration / marketing. In 1992 Barry had the opportunity to
become a partner in the Cass Funeral Homes Inc. where he currently holds the
position of its President. Barry married Lisette Gallibois in 1999, and has
renovated his grandmother’s old farm house where they now live and are raising
their three children. |
Jacques
Laberge
Born, raised and still living on the family farm in Danville, Quebec, Jacques
enjoys the possibility of working at Cass Funeral Homes and being able to take
advantage of country life. Having completed his studies at the University of
Western Ontario, Jacques joined Cass in 1992 as a partner. He shares his life
with his wife Jeannik and their two daughters Catherine and Anne. Jacques keeps
busy as a gentleman farmer on weekends, carpentry, coaching youth soccer,
skiing and playing hockey. He is very involved with the local school and school
board. |

Everett Boynton
Born in Montreal, Quebec on December 31, 1950. Son of Gordon Boynton and Edythe
Stokes. Third generation funeral Director and embalmer, Everett graduated from
the New England Institute of Embalming in Boston, Mass. in 1972 and passed the
national boards in the United States that same year. Everett returned to Bury,
Quebec to work with his father. In 1977, he began working at L.O. Cass &
Son in Lennoxville. |
Robert Redden
Born and raised on a little farm in Cookshire. Robert completed a D.E.P. in
electricity in Sherbrooke. He started to work in the meat department of several
stores and as a meat manager at Provigo for many years. Robert and his wife
Yvonne Boutin purchased the family farm in Cookshire where they raised their
children, Nancy and Patrick. He enjoys canoeing, skating, cycling and
carpentry. In 1998, Robert and Yvonne purchased a house in Lennoxville and
Robert began working at Cass Funeral Homes as a funeral director and is pleased
to be at your service. |

Caroline
Beauregard
Born in Sherbrooke and raised in the beautiful countryside of Bishopton. At 17
years old, Caroline left home to pursue studies in the funeral service
education program at Rosemont College in Montreal. In 1996, diploma in hand,
Caroline returned from Montreal to begin her vocation at Cass Funeral Homes in
Lennoxville. She presently lives in Cookshire and shares her life with Dominique Talbot. |
Leslie
Victor Webster
Leslie was born, raised and educated in the village of Fitch Bay, QC. He
began farming at a young age and worked for the municipality. Leslie met Janie
Gilbert in 1965 and they married in 1966. They lived in Rock Island for two
years and then moved to a small farm they purchased in Ogden in 1968. Leslie
returned to the farming life as well as taking on various other jobs. He began
working at the Cass Funeral Home in Stanstead in 1995, arranging and directing
funerals as well as maintaining a small beef herd. Leslie also serves as a
director on the Ayer’s Cliff fair board, a position which he has held for over
thirty years.
Janie Webster
Janie was born in the old Sherbrooke Hospital and raised in Rock Island and
Beebe. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in Newport, Vermont and shortly
after began working at the C.I.B.C. bank in Beebe. She met Leslie at a dance in
Fitch Bay, where she was playing music. They married and soon after Janie left
her job at the bank and eventually became the secretary-treasurer for the
Stanstead County Horticultural Society. In 1986 she retired from that position
to become the secretary-treasurer for the Ayer's Cliff Fair. Janie began
working alongside Leslie at the Cass Funeral Home in 1996 where she still
counsels families as well as maintains her position at the fair. |

Michael
D. Hill
Born in Richmond QC, Michael worked for the Minister of Transport
in Richmond for 33 years until his retirement in 1997. Upon
his retirement, Michael joined his wife Suzanne and the staff
of Cass Funeral Homes, where he works as a member of the support
staff. Michael enjoys many leisure activities such as golfing
and fishing and has become an accomplished painter throughout
the Eastern Townships.
Suzanne Nadeau Hill
Born in Richmond QC, Suzanne graduated from Mont St-Patrice High School in 1962
and began a career with the Bank of Montreal in Richmond. Suzanne met Michael
D. Hill, also of Richmond, and was married in 1965. Suzanne accepted a position
with the J.H. Fleury funeral home in 1984, where she, Michael and their three
children moved into an apartment above the funeral home. In 1987 Suzanne
accepted a position with Cass Funeral homes where she met families and managed
the Richmond location. Upon the retirement of a co-worker at the head office in
Lennoxville, Suzanne was offered, and accepted, the opportunity move to the
head office where she and her husband now live and share many responsibilities
within the company. |
