Adoring grandfather of: Joshua, Madyson, Mackenzie, Ava, Danika and Jacob. Ron will also be very sadly missed by his sister Diane French, and by his nieces: Kim Watters (Jeff), and Karyn MacPherson (Don) of Windsor , Ont., Kelly Terprestra (Marcel) of Ottawa Ont., and Kerri Lee Jackson (Chris) of Manitouwadge, Ont., his 4 great-nieces, 5 great-nephews, and other relatives and many friends. Ron was born in Newport, Vermont on September 1, 1948 and received his education at Sunnyside School in Rock Island, Qc. He was an avid outdoors man who loved camping, hunting, fishing, biking, kayaking, car outings, and walking. He was a member of the Fullerton Hunting and Fishing Wildlife Association, which in his struggle, helped provide many memorable moments with friends. His smile and friendly nature will be missed by all.
